Popcorn Balls~lughasadh Ingredients: 1/2 c. sugar 1/4 c. margerine or butter 1/2 c. light corn syrup 8 c. popped corn Preparation Instructions Heat all ingrediants except the popcorn, in dutch oven over medium-high heat, stirring constatly. Add popcorn and cook until the popcorn is well coated. Cool slightly. Dip hands into cool water, then shape mixture into 8, 2 1/2 inch balls. Place the balls on wax paper to cool. OPTION: To make caramel popcorn balls, substitute packed brown sugar for the granulated sugar and dark corn syrup for the light corn syrup.
