Honey Cookies-belthane Ingredients: 1/2 c. vegetable shortening 1/2 c. honey 1 egg 1 tsp. vanilla extract 1 c. sifted flour 1 tsp. baking powder 1/4 tsp. salt 1/2 c. quick-cooking oats 1/2 c. chopped peanuts 1/2 c. seedless raisins 6 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips, chopped Preparation Instructions Preheat oven to 375. Cream shortening and honey together until light and fluffy. Add the egg and vanilla. Beat well. Sift flour, baking powdder and salt together in a bowl. Add to the shortening mixture and blend well. Add oats, nuts, raisins and chocolate chips. Blend well. Drop dough by teaspoonfulls onto greased cookie sheet. Flatten with the tines of a fork. Bake for 10 minutes.
